An experienced GIS scientist and Developer. Highly skilled in Geospatial data engineering, Experienced in financial analysis, managing geodatabases using Excel, SQL, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Python, and ESRI-based software. Currently, I am aSenior IT Geospatial Analyst at the City of Austin, Department of Transportation and Public Work. I have experience teaching at Higher education institutions (Clark University,as a Visiting Assistant Professor and at Northwest Missouri State University as an Adjunct Professor). I have taught Geographic Information Science at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels in different frameworks such as web mapping, developing PostgreSQL databases, QGIS, and R. I have also used and taught middleware in Geospatial studies applying different languages like Javascript and Python. I am familiar with five languages and can speak fluently 3 of them: Persian, my native language, English, and Italian. I lived in Italy for nine years, where I got my bachelor’s degree and my first master’s degree in business communication.
